Google’s new processor, Tensor G4, powers the Pixel 9 family, which was introduced a few days ago. So how does this processor perform compared to its competitors? The answer to this question was revealed on Geekbench today. Here are the performance reports of Tensor G4.
Tensor G4 is not half as powerful as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3!
Google launched the Pixel 9 series, which consists of four models, a few days ago. The Pixel 9 family, powered by Tensor G4 processors, has already been shown as a competitor to many models on the market. So how does the G4 perform in terms of performance?
The Pixel 9, which was subjected to AnTuTu tests today, managed to get 927,945 points with its Tensor G4 processor. However, this figure was quite low when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Because Qualcomm’s flagship processor received more than 2 million points in the same tests. In other words, the G4 offers more than 50 percent lower performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Let’s come to Geekbench. Completing the single-core test with 1556 points and the multi-core test with 3706 points, the G4 falls behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in this regard. When we consider that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 completed the single-core test with 2226 points and the multi-core test with 6917 points, there is a performance difference of about 50 percent in this regard.
It seems that the same Tensor G4 still has a very big performance difference from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which it sees as a competitor. What did you think of the performance of Google’s processor? Let’s discuss it in the comments.
